Cyber Month has begun in Astana

In September 2026, Cyber Month will take place in Astana, aimed at developing a culture of cybersecurity, improving the digital literacy of the population, and discussing current issues related to the safe application of modern technologies.

Amid the rapid development of digital services and artificial intelligence, protecting personal data, information systems and digital infrastructure is becoming increasingly important, alongside raising citizens’ awareness of modern cyber threats.

As part of Cybersecurity Month, a series of national and city-level events is planned in the capital, bringing together representatives of government agencies, the technology sector, the expert community and information security specialists.

One of the key events will be a meeting of the Council for the Development of Artificial Intelligence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The agenda will focus on the key areas of development of the country’s AI ecosystem, the integration of artificial intelligence across various sectors, as well as the regulation and safe use of these technologies.
