KazHackStan 2026: Astana to host dialogue on cybersecurity
On September 29–30, Astana will host KazHackStan 2026 for the first time — one of Central Asia’s leading cybersecurity conferences.
This year’s central theme is Cyber Resilience. As digital threats continue to evolve, it is no longer enough to simply protect systems — organizations and institutions must be able to respond quickly to attacks, recover from incidents and maintain continuity.
Over two days, the Palace of Independence will bring together cybersecurity experts, government and business representatives, developers and members of the professional community. The program will feature two thematic conference days, more than 100 regional and international speakers, as well as CyberKumbez — a hacker team competition held on a cyber range. More than 10,000 participants from across the region are expected to attend.
Hosting KazHackStan in Astana marks an important step in strengthening the city’s digital ecosystem and cybersecurity culture.
The event is held in partnership with the Akimat of Astana and Astana Innovations JSC, bringing together government, business, the technology community and cybersecurity experts to contribute to a safer and more resilient digital environment.
